Love It!
A viewer from Cape Cod, MA
This is the best little ball. My daughter is 7 months old so it's a little big for her to make clack. When I do it for her she's very interested, and I can tell she's trying to figure it out. The colors are so vibrant. It is a nice change from the same old thing you get at the big box store.

I like it more
A viewer from North Carolina
As much as I love this toy I find myself playing with it more than my son. The ball is slightly too large for him to grasp it well with his small hands and he gets frustrated trying to make the &quotclacking" sound himself. He does love trying to roll it back and forth for a game of catch though.

Enduring fun for baby...surprisingly soothing for
A viewer from San Francisco
This toy is beautiful...the colors fresh and vibrant and the weight of the wood perfect in the hand. My daughter has had this toy since she was under six months of age...she just turned one and is still drawn to it. This toy makes a satisfying clacking noise if manipulated in your hands and I find that adults will subconsciously spend their time &quotplaying" with it should it somehow find its way into their hands. My daughter enjoys holding onto it during car rides and it helps keep her attention off her captive predicament (which really is the best endorsement I could give).

Great toy!
A viewer from Ohio
This is a beautifuly made toy. I think I found it easier to play with than my son though, with his tiny fingers. I was under the impression it would clack while rolling, however you need to manipulate the layers with your fingers to move them, a skill he didnt yet have. As hes grown older he appreciates it more, he rolls it & throws it. I think its a fabulous toy, but my child didnt show interest in it til much past 6 months.

a toy that holds baby's interest for a long time
A viewer from New England
My son received this for Christmas when he was 4 months old and loved to listen and watch as I clicked the discs together, even before he could hold it. He started holding it himself and mouthing it at 6 months, and now at 10 months is beginning to manipulate it with both hands--spinning the discs, knocking them together (they DO make a satisfying noise), and stretching the discs out on the red elastic cord they're fastened with. He's almost ready to start rolling it. I can see it will continue to fascinate him for a long time, and become a beloved keepsake. And it's so beautiful! Everyone else in the family will find it irresistible as well. "
