My daughter received two Rainbow babies for Christmas, a blue and an orange, when she was not quite three months old. At that time, she had no interest in them at all. Now, a month later, she adores them. She smiles hugely when she sees the baby's appealing face, and the soft squishy body is very easy for her to hold at this point in her development. She loves to chew on the wooden ring (when she can get in her mouth, that is!) I think that the Rainbow babies are going to be favorites of hers for a while. And I love them because they're from Kathe Kruse so I know they're as safe and as well made as possible.

I carry my baby in various baby carriers on front and back, and I'm always on the lookout for toys that will do well attached to the carrier (i.e. with a nylon toy strap or a Haba binky clip). This keeps her amused while we're running errands and keeps her from pulling my hair. This sweet little dolly is the perfect toy for this -- my teething baby can chew on the doll or the ring, and if she flails around with it it won't hurt!

I bought two of these dolls, one for my son and one for my friends daughter. They are so sweet and perfect for baby to play with in the car seat. While my son was never really interested in chewing on the ring, my friends daughter enjoyed it very much. Perfect baby gift for anyone

This toy is great for the diaper bag or the car. It has the different textures that babies seem to love- the hard smooth wooden ring, the soft velor fabric, the harder "knot" made by the arms around the ring, and the little string antennae. Lots of different things for a little mouth to explore. Plus, it has the cutest little face that my daughter loves to stare at.
