We have had Lotta for a couple of years and she was losing hair since the start. It has gotten really bad in the last few months, so I contacted Haba. They responded within 24 hours and are sending me a new Lotta free of charge and I will send the old Lotta back so they can review it. My 4 year old has loved Lotta since she was 2 and just received 2 of Lotta's friends that she loves as well!

I absolutely love this doll...bright colors, beautifully constructed. However, there is a button on the doll's jacket, and it came off my Lotta doll rather easily and into my 2 year old's mouth. I shudder to think what could have happened had I not been there and actually seen it go into her mouth. The age on this doll is 1 1/2. I really love this doll and am still very happy we have her. But be warned...you should probably snip the button off the coat if you have small children in the house, and just let the coat hang open.

My daughter received this doll as a first birthday gift, and Lotta was immediately adopted as a favorite toy. Almost a year later, she is still playing with Lotta almost daily- this doll stands the test of time.
Lotta is easy for a toddler to undress, but a bit of help is needed to dress her again; I'm sure as my child gets older it will be less of a challenge. The doll is extremely well made and has a darling embroidered face and cute details like a belly-button (which delights my child to no end). Her clothing is bright and stylish, and I especially like that she comes with a coat and shoes- we can get Lotta ready to leave the house as a transitional activity and motivation for my daughter to get her own coat and shoes on.
We have had no issues with hair loss as another reviewer has- our Lotta's hair is still securely attached, despite being dragged around by it for the last year or so.

We love the Lotta doll, but her hair is falling out! She's been treated well & was not put in the washing machine. It's unfortunate, because we love everything else about her.

This doll is simply adorable. At Christmas, we knew we wanted to give our daughter a doll. After looking at (what seemed like) every doll in existence, we settled on Lotta. I loved that she has red hair and blue eyes just like my little girl. I don't think we could have made a better choice. She is put together nicely, has a lovely outfit, and is the perfect size for little arms. I have yet to purchase something from Haba that I am not impressed with. Lotta is a great non-plastic doll that your child will love.
