Designed by French-born artist Florence Wetterwald, Blabla soft rattles are infused with color and imagination. Each rattle is hand-knitted by Peruvian artists using techniques that are passed down from generation to generation. We love the vibrant colors and whimsical design of Blabla soft rattles, expert craftsmanship and extraordinary colors. Hand made in Peru. The baby toys are perfectly sized for baby's small hands. Spot clean surface with damp cloth. Surface is cotton with poly/cotton interior stuffing.

My daughter may have appreciated this toy at a younger age. At 14 months she either feels she's too old for it or has seen too many rattles. She can be distracted by it for a few moments but loses interest quickly. I would not have bought this for her at a younger age because of the small fish (my daughter chewed and sucked on everything). I'm hoping it will become a puppet because it was expensive for a toy that she hardly enjoyed.

My daughter really enjoys playing with this cat. We love cats in our house, so we always look out for cat items. I did make an adjustment to the toy out of safety concerns. I decided to remove the fish from the cat's paw because I was concerned it might come lose when my daughter was chewing on it (of course, she loved to chew on this part!). She still loves the toy, and it has provided a lot of entertainment for her.

I purchased the Blabla Cat rattle for my daughter as a Christmas present. I am a cat lover, so I am always on the lookout for cute kitty items! This rattle is so sweet! It is the perfect size for my baby to grasp. My daughter plays with it more like a doll than a rattle. She also enjoys chewing on it, and I feel safe letting her do so. I have gotten several comments on this toy and have even been asked if I made it myself. How I wish! The quality and craftsmanship is wonderful. The colors are cheerful and fun. This rattle will definitely become a "keepsake" item. I am very satisfied!
