Great Toy but drawer sticks [33 OF 65 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My daughter enjoys this toy, especially being able to pull the drawer to release the blocks. But, our drawer sticks a bit if it's not pulled straight, as opposed to a little side-to-side movement that happens with my child.

The Brio Sorting Box is a wonderful toy!! I looked through many sites trying to figure out which sorting box was right for my daughter. Some sorting boxes had too many shapes, some looked like they would break within the week, and others were too expensive for what it looked like I would be getting. Then...I found the Brio Sorting Box. The black box has a beautiful shine and is extremely durable, the shapes are made with colors that absolutely "pop", and the fact that you have two of each of the three shapes is a bonus. My daughter has started to realize that when she finally gets the square in the hole, that there is another square in the same shape and color, and it fits in the same hole too!! The excited look on her face when she knows that she accomplished what she tried to do is amazing. I get thrilled every time she smiles and giggles because she did it. As a mom I have always tried to find toys that are fun, but they have to be educational, and Brio has definitely hit the nail on the head with this toy!!!

This Brio sorting box is a classic. It is very well built. The high gloss has withstood toddler abuse and is scratch free after 4 months of use. My son received it for his first birthday and played with it occasionally. Now that he is 16 months he has gotten very adept at putting the correct shape through its proper hole. He loves the shelf that has to be pulled out to release the toys, a squeal of delight follows each time he empties it out. I like the fact that this is simply a sorting box. Unlike some other boxes I've looked at it is uncomplicated in its design and decoration. I'm sure this toy will hold up for a long time and provide delight and learning long after my son can name all his shapes. Way to go Brio!
