Throughtfully and Artistically Created Book [24 OF 50 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
As an avid gardener, I want my little girl to enjoy flowers, so the beauty of this book caught my eye. Its produced very carefully, as each time you look through the hole on a new page, you see something (like a caterpillar) peeking back at you.

My son enjoys the Chelona mouse book, and I thought that since the snail doesn't fit through the holes like the mouse does, he would not be as interested in this one. However, he loves taking the snail through the garden to "sit" and visit with his various friends. Once he fits the snail in place, he likes to rotate it to look around. This was a stocking stuffer for him at age one, but would have even been better to have given this year at age two. For the past month, these Chelona books have gone wherever we go--I highly recommend them.

This delightful book is very well made, and the illustrations are delightful. I would wait, however, until age 18 months to purchase.

This is a fun book to take on outings. It's sturdy and doesn't seem to get boring--you can make up a new story every time. The snail can travel through the pages or be an intriguing toy on its own for little hands.
