We didn't get this as a gift until my son was 13 months or so, and he doesn't use it as much as we thought. Its better for babies who are just learning to hold a book and turn the pages. The little frog is also big and sturdy for little hands too.

This is a wonderful little book. Because it's made of wood, I don't have to worry about the pages getting chewed up. The pictures are very colorful and each page has different animals and objects on it which makes for great story-telling and learning. Although my 13 month daughter doesn't put the Froggie into the peepholes yet, she does enjoy "talking" to him and dragging him around the apartment by the string. If your child likes books, I highly recommend this one!

Just the right size for a toddler! And it's interactive. My one year old son loves to place the "Froggie" in his hole and I make up the story as we go along. It is such a cute book! Well made, high quality! Great for church, or travel.

We keep this book at our son's dining place. He loves hopping the frog along the table, feeding him and having my husband and I kiss the frog. He is just learning that he can place the frog in the different holes to change the picture. This toy is very well made as it spends a great deal of time in a dinner bowl, being cleaned and chewed upon and has not faded nor become worn in any way.
