Love this placemat [16 OF 33 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I love this placemat, and so does my daughter! I am a horticulturist and found this mat to be a fun teaching tool. This mat is easy to clean, too. I have had good luck running it through the dishwasher (to sanitize). Comes out looking new!

This is the most cheerful garden imaginable—it makes me happy to look at it. Sunflowers, foxgloves, hollyhocks, coneflowers, poppies, lilies of the valley—how can you choose a favorite? My son loves to point while I read the names. Each name is printed in a different beautiful font. Around the outside margin of the mat are the names of flowers from A-Z (not necessarily the same as those in the picture). I bought this to use as a placemat, but when I unwrapped it from the package (Oompa shipped these beautifully in a sturdy cardboard envelope) I knew right away I had to hang it up—Art! I hung it where my 11 month old can see it above his bed, and he reaches for it and looks at delightedly. I think he will continue to be interested in it and learn from it for years to come.
