Our daughter tends to put everything in her mouth while playing at the age of 1 yr. By her doing this it started to "tear" the edges a little. We took it away from her and will give it back when we think she's old enough to enjoy it more than as a chew toy! This product is targeted to one year old and older. I would recommend it for a child that is at least 18 mths. It's fairly small and chunky so it's hard for the younger one year old to handle. I do, however, LOVE the pictures. They are beautiful!

A very tiny little book [41 OF 80 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I was surprised at how small this book is! The pictures are very nice and we really enjoy what words they use for each letter however its a bit too thick for my daughters hands and I wish it was bigger. Since we got it for her birthday she hasnt played with it since unless we get it out and read it to her.

This little book packs so much creativity into its colorful pages--often including two examples for each letter. A gorilla holds grapes for "G;" a porcupine stands in a puddle; and our favorite: a raven carries a radish. With lovely, whimsical artwork, it's the perfect travel book for my 2 year old.
