I spent an inordinately long time looking for a backpack for my pre-schooler that was made by a reputable company, wasn't an advertisement for a tv character, was easy to open and close, and met the size specifications of the school. This backpack is perfect on all counts. It is not so big as to be uncomfortable, and yet it fits the oversized library books and correspondence folder he brings home weekly. And did I mention that he loves it? I let him pick which backpack design he wanted and he showed his bag off proudly to everyone for weeks.
