I purchased this toy when my son was 6m old and he was not very interested in it then but I loved having the gorgeous and vibrant colors on one of his shelves. Now at 14m he loves spinning it the head, biting the beak, and has even started stacking. Cute!

We got this for my son's first birthday and he is still a bit too young for it, even though he enjoys it. It is well made and unique, but I consider the removable post a hazard at this age, so he still plays with it under supervision. Overall - very nice.

My son absolutely loves this toy and I have to admit that I love it too. I keep most of the children's toys in their playroom but I let this one stay out in our living area because it is so cute. My son loves stacking the rings and especially loves the egg on the bottom. I highly recommend this to anyone!!!

We've had this toy since my daughter was 10 months old. She is now 12 months, still can't stack it but she loves taking it apart. But most of all she loves to hold the center pole and wave it, shake it, transfer it from hand to hand. She'd crawl around still clutching it and now walks around holding it. When she's frustrated many times all I have to do is distract her with the chicken stacker.

I purchased Maman Poule for my son's first birthday and I love it! It's certainly a piece that can be displayed on a shelf (when it's not being stacked of course) for many years. We found the removable rod to be a bit inconvenient so we glued it down. Our little one loves to roll the rod & base around on the floor. Such a beautiful toy, I love the color scheme, the smooth finish, and the whole chicken!
