Designed by the uber talented artists at Paris-based toy company Djeco, Creanimaux represents an imaginative step in children's blocks. 29 vibrantly colored wooden pieces can be used to assemble a Dog, bunny, horse, pig, chicken, or cow. Mix them up, think out of the box, and create funny, unusual creatures!

We love the big, chunky pieces that are easy for toddlers and preschoolers to hold and stack. We also like the designs on the blocks. They're child-friendly without being too cutesy. I set these blocks out for my son to play with when he was one, but he recently just starting taking an interest in them (at 20 mo). He likes the animal faces and trying to make his own little animal. Some of the slanted pieces don't stack well however.

We love these blocks! The best part is they have no right or wrong way. They are fun and easy to stack, while providing lots of different shapes. I wish the printed blocks (like the faces, hands and feet) were on both sides.

I purchased for my nine month old thinking she would like to chew and bang on these now and when she is older construct the animals. She hasn't really taken much to them now, but the blocks are super cute and I think they will be hit in the future. For the time being, she has more interest in the plastic bags that each of the animals comes in.

I got these for a 1.5 year old and he just loved mix and matching the different animals. These blocks are very cute and very well made and seem like they will last through years (or at least multiple children!)

The colors of these blocks are wonderful; a departure from the ordinary. We have such fun making up silly animals. I only wish there was a better storage box to keep them all together more easily
