The princess sits on a balcony that overlooks a beaufiful kingdom. A chambermaid brushes her golden hair while the frog king sits quietly at her side. Preschool aged children will have fun putting together this puzzle designed especially for them. The big pieces are easy to handle and sturdy enough for the demands of this age group.

This makes a perfect gift because the box is so pretty you will most likely end up reusing it as a little secrets box, jewelry box and alike. The picture itself is a little simple, but for a 4-year old that's just perfect, a great prep for big puzzles.

The box this puzzle comes in is highly unusual, unique, eye-catching, and curiosity inducing in children. The puzzle pieces are made of high quality material, very thick, and seem very durable. It has just the right number of pieces for a 4 year old - too fewer, and she is bored, more and she is frustrated by dificulty. This difficulty level suits her perfectly. It has a look and feel of a very luxury item.

This puzzle has a lot of "wow" factor with the young princess set. I have given it (or other Djeco puzzles) as a gift to both my daughter (age 5) and her friends, and children and parents alike are enchanted by the box...and the puzzle inside. This is a great choice for parents (like me) who want to avoid heavily advertised and commercialized kids toys (you know the ones I mean), but still give a gift that the kids do not view as "educational." The pieces are very sturdy, the picture is bright, clear and interesting, and the puzzle is age-appropriate in its difficulty. But it is the packaging that makes this puzzle a great gift!
