There are two outside side pockets for water bottles, a pencil/pen organizer, and a zippered mesh pocket inside. The shoulder strap and back pack straps are padded and fully adjustable. Like all Fleurville products, the Kid's Messenger is PVC-free, Teflon-free, and lead free!
