Pretty Neat [35 OF 71 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
This toy is pretty neat. My daughter likes to watch me pop open the ball to reveal the worm. It is not that hard to get the worm to fit back inside the ball and it does make a neat crinkling sound. However, that is about all it does, so it is not my favorite toy.

Even though my son plays with both pieces we have a hard time playing with them together. The worm doesn't fit in the apple. The apple is in one corner of his playroom and the worm is on the other side. No true play.

My daughter was not at all interested in this. The worm is nice, but the rattle inside is so quiet. The apple has crinkling leaves and the center's crinkle, but for some reason, my child never reaches for it. It is lacking something I cannot pinpoint.

Cute + Staying Power [95 OF 212 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I gave Pommelo to my daughter when she was 3 months old. We hung it from her activity gym with one of those ubiquitous plastic hooks, and she loved batting it around, and getting surprised by the worm popping out. When he did, she'd grab him and wave him around proudly. Now at 7 months, she sits up to play with Pommelo! We kept the hook on there for easy grabbing, but she also grabs by the apple leaves and rolls it around the floor. It has been great for learning to crawl, since it's a ball that doesn't roll too far away due to the leaves. She still get excited about the hidden worm, and now she will grab him and crawl around the living room with her prize. I suspect she'll find new ways to play with it at each infant development stage. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed with this toy when I got it. I normally love Haba toys, but I'm just not impressed with this one. The worm rattle is absolutely adorable, but my son doesn't seem to enjoy playing with it. It just doesn't keep his attention. At this point he isn't able to hold the apple it's a bit big for his hands, maybe he will like it more then.
