This is a great little toy, it does so many things. It rattles, it changes color, it looks like a ball when the little petals are closed and like a flower when they are open. You can throw it, roll it, bounce it on your hand, or spin it by holding on to the loop. And, when my 4 month old son tries to stuff it into his mouth (and cannot, of course), the petals are great things to chew on! He loves it!

This is a very neat ball, and my daughter loves how it changes colors. It didn't take her long to peel the "leaves" back and make the color change. She likes to roll it around, but it doesn't hold her interest for very long. I think I like it more than she does though, maybe in the future she will discover a new love for it. Regardless, I think it's a very nice first ball.

At first I was surprised by the size of the ball. I soon realized, however, that it is the perfect size for my baby. He liked the yellow-red side more, as the blue tone blended in with his play rug too much. It served as a chewing toy for a bit, but recently (between 8 and 10 months) he knows to look for it when I say "ball" and will sit and somewhat haphazardly throw it towards me. Pretty fun to see his look of accomplishment!

This ball is perfect for babies in size, color, and shape. The leaves prevent the ball from rolling on and on, which is great for those who are new to these playthings. I got this for my son when he was around 6 months. It has gone through much usage (rolling, eating, washings), and still looks new. And it's always great to watch his little fingers peel back the leaves.

We have so much fun with this toy! My son seems facinated that the ball changes colors. He likes to watch us throw the ball around, and roll it to him. He can easily grasp one of the 'peels' to pick the ball up and put it in his mouth (he puts everything in his mouth, of course!). Great toy!
