You know, I actually bought this mobile from Oompa while I was living in Germany. I would often come home from the German toy stores and check Oompa's prices and they were always much lower. I was looking for a unique, European gift to send back home as a baby gift and this mobile was perfect. My sister and her baby loved this charming mobile with it's rich colors and happy birds. It's a gift you can feel good about giving:)

Ever since I hung up the mobile, my baby has loved to watch it. Once I get it moving he is transfixed. He hasn't yet taken to holding and squeaking the birds off the mobile yet, but once he gets those skills it will be great in that capacity as well.

The magnets make this mobile!!! [24 OF 47 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
Originally, I bought this mobile because I thought it was cute. I thought any mobile would really get a baby's attention, and while that may still be the case, this one is especially terrific because the birds are attached with magnets! I KNOW that once a baby can stand, a mobile should be removed, but the truth is Maddie LOVES this mobile so much, and when she pulls on it, it doesn't topple down because the birds come off. She loves to wake up in the morning and pull them off and play, and it buys me probably an extra 30 minutes of sleep because she is so entertained. So I LOVE this mobile more than life itself!!!

I have had this mobile hanging over our changing table since my son was 8 weeks old. Not only does it look great, but it has made diaper changes SO much easier! He is now 15 months old and still loves it. The birds are easily detachable with magnets, and some of them squeak. It is such a unique item, and EVERYONE who comes in my son's room asks me to send them the info on where exactly to get this, whether their kids are 6 weeks or 3 yrs old. Best purchase I've made so far for my son!
