I bought these blocks for my son before he was born. He started playing with them when he was about 8 months old. He would hold them and take one in each hand and click them together. Now we build towers and he gets a kick out of knocking them down.

Great Blocks!! [35 OF 72 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
These blocks were a Christmas gift for my 20 month old son, and they have been a huge hit. They are wonderful blocks for this age because they are a bit on the small side, so they really encourage fine motor development. There are a few different shapes and sizes, which allow for more creative building. The colors are lovely and shiny. I have a great time playing with these blocks myself, and my son pulls them out all the time to build a "house". I am very pleased with this purchase and will probably buy another set so my son can build bigger "houses."

Love these but too small for toddlers who mouth st [52 OF 101 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I adore these blocks, and at almost 2 my son loves to stack them and knock them down. But I only bring them out with supervision as he still occasionally mouths things and some pieces are small enough to fit in his mouth.

28 pieces is a great start for a baby my son's age. The pieces are a good size for his small hands (with the exception of one black that seemed a little too small for my liking at this age). His dad and I stack them up and he loves to knock them down! The colors are great for him to look at instead of just plain bare wood.

I bought this block set as a Christmas present for my son who just turned 17 months old. They blocks are so beautiful, well made and have great coloring. Based on the other Haba blocks that he has right now, these are going to be perfect. They are just the right size for small toddler hands and the colors are very appealing. They came beautifully boxed which would also make them great for gift giving too.
