I just gave this to my 4 year old and she loved it before she started taking the dominoes out of the box. She loves the challenge of getting the pieces to stand up and tries to get as many dominoes standing before her baby sister knocks them down.

Perfect add-on for marble roll sets [226 OF 502 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
Although this makes a great play set in its own right, we got this to add on to the kids' Haba marble roll play sets. They can occupy themselves for hours setting up the ball track and dominoes so that the marble will knock over the first domino and start a chain reaction. The superb quality of these sets makes them well worth the price.

I just purchased this for my 5 1/2 year old son for Christmas. So far he has already played with it for hours. He makes intricate configurations using the provided stairs and bridges, and enjoys making patterns with the different colored domino blocks. It is such great fine motor practice for him. My 2 1/2 year old son is also very interested and makes smaller line ups and also loves to match the colors. I think the quality of the set is outstanding and the animal faces that are on some of the blocks are adorable.

As a parent of three children, ages 3-8, it is wonderful to find a building project they all enjoy together. The Haba Domino Race allows the creativity of my younger child to inspire my older children to create together. This allows my kids real quality time to entertain each other and teaches them to negotiate and work together. My younger one loves the colors and hands on, my older children love the thinking process involved to create their "masterpieces". We love the Domino Race!
