Encourage those budding grasping skills with this charming wooden toy from Germany. Maxe is made of wooden disks and beads that are securely threaded onto a thick, yellow, elastic band. Secure him to a stroller or car seat or simply give to baby. We love the gentle clacking noise the multi-colored wooden disks make when Maxe is played with. His little, yellow cap is also pretty cute. Made of hardwood and finished with completely non-toxic, child-friendly paints and lacquers.

My son loved this toy and played with it from 5 months to one year. It was a convenient toy as the elastic loop made it easily attachable to his back pack carrier. It's in great condition after heavy use and will be passed down to his brother.

Maxe is adorable, with bright fun colors and sturdy haba construction. However, my 8 month old shows almost no interest at all in maxe. Even when I give him Maxe directly, he lets go to play with toys he can get more of a grip on.

We love this and the Klapperwurm toys. They attach easily and are eye-catching. They are great for little hands and fun to chew on. I only wish they were a little easier to clean. My 7-month old enjoys playing with them.
