	Simple and bright. 07/04/2008

This toy was the first that my grandson could hold and entertain himself with. His little hand at 4 months was just trying to hold and grasp things and this was the simplest for him to grasp. It was the only toy that didn't frustrate him. I have since purchased three more as gifts, largely due to their safe paints and because we enjoyed our experiance with it so much.

I love the bright colors and wood finish on this toy. It's super cute. My 6 month old is still trying to figure it out.

I gave this 3 stars primarily because it's a Haba toy and I feel safe letting my boys chew on it. The colors are great and they like to stare at it when I shake it; however, they've never really taken a liking to it in terms of playing with it themselves. It seems like it's a little tough for them to hold on to it -- they have a hard time getting their hands into the center of the triangle. They are 5 months old now and I'm hoping they will like it more when they are older.

My son did not like this toy. The colors were nice and bright, but he seemed to have trouble getting his little hands around a triangle because the other triangle seemed to be in the way. Mayb if the triangle were just a bit bigger, he may have liked it better.

Our daughter started "playing" with this toy about 4-6 months old, so the age recommendation is about right. I was so happy to find the Haba line, as they are safe, beautifully colored, and you don't need to worry about batteries or loud sounds! This toy is a great size for little ones who are just learning to grasp items, and you don't have to worry about them chewing on it because of the non-toxic finish. It is very sturdy and I feel as if I don't have to worry about it coming apart. Great buy!
