Beautiful little tomatoes for play kitchen. I bought this for his Haba pasta b/c we often eat pasta and tomatoes is a must in our real kitchen.

This tomato is a glorious red. I too was surprised at the small stature of the HABA food I ordered, but our children delight in organizing them in small canisters and they fit well into our play soup pots and pans.

My children love eating tomato slices so I had to add it to their play kitchen. I was not sure if it would look much different from the orange and was pleasantly surprise that they are very easily differentiated by both myself and my children. This is a great way to introduce healthy foods and "eat" foods year round. This is great for when we grow a garden together as well as cook or have picnics.

I am extremely pleased with the quality of this item. I love how smooth it is, and how they are stained so perfectly. There was alot of consideration in making these to fit little hands.

The haba playfoods are so well made, the woods is very smooth and the paint is actually more like a stain. This little tomato is the perfect red and green, and could easily double as an apple if needed. It's just the right size for little hands.
