I like the bright colors of this toy. My 19-month-old immediately identified it as a pear, even though it's fairly small. It's big enough that I don't worry about him choking on it, unlike some other play foods.

This pear is just as beautifully made--smooth and bright--as all HABA's fruits and veggies. And we as parents are SO relieved and happy to know that every time our children "taste" or handle this food, they are enjoying a totally safe, non-toxic experience.

I loved this pear but.... [40 OF 88 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
At first I loved this pear. It came in the fruit and basket set that we got for Christmas. It is a great size and color; however, my son who is almost 3, was able to pull the stem out. I'm glad I found it before my 10 month old did. If the glue was a bit more sturdy, I would give this 5 stars.

This pear was a wonderful addition to my son's play food. It is a bit on the small side so make sure to read the measurements and be sure that it is age appropriate. Since my son is past the everything in mouth stage, he has a lot of fun playing with this.
