Half Dozen Eggs

These wooden eggs are so well-made and sweet! They fit perfectly with the other Haba play food that my children have.

Some things to note:
- They are not life-sized (they are smaller than chicken eggs, but larger than quail eggs), so they fit nicely with the small pots and pans that my kids have.
- The natural wood grain shows through the lacquer, which gives them a pleasant appearance. They're also very smooth.

My daughter has been playing "farm" a lot, and I think these eggs will be great for her "chicken coop."

These eggs get used all the time at our house for play. They look very real, especially in the egg carton! The box was torn after several months, but I just put them in a half dozen egg box from buying eggs at the grocery store.

My son loves that his little eggs come in the same kind of carton that mama's eggs come in, but wonders why his aren't brown too. Other than that, he loves cooking with these. He won't eat eggs, but he loves playing with them.

I bought for my niece. Sometimes we play 'supermarket theme'. I asked her "what do I need for baking?" And she gave me butter, flour, and these eggs. These are little bit smaller than real eggs.

We gave our son a selection of Haba play food to replace some plastic ones we'd had, and these are an excellent addition to the set. The realism of the carton (we've found it to be quite sturdy) and the size of the eggs make these a joy to play with.
