This basket is an awesome jump-start for a pretend kitchen. I like the variety- veggies, fruit, meat, dairy, and bread. The quality is beautiful and the food really does look delicious. I'm sure these will last for years. A great idea for a gift.

What a fantastic gift from a friend. This is a sturdy set of realistic looking play food representing all four food groups. It's quickly become my daughter's favorite. She'll go 'shopping' with the basket, fill it with food and then cook and feed her stuffed animals. It's great for creative play.

I bought this basket for my daughter for Christmas. I was very impressed with the quality of the pieces and was surprised at how full the basket was! I ordered extra pieces but really didn't need to. I was a little worried about the detail of the pieces and was pleasantly surprised at how realistic each one is. My daugther recognizes everything. She pretends to drink from the milk and and eat the cheese (her favorite snack) and I don't have to worry about plastic in her mouth.

My daughter got a kitchen last year for Christmas and she loves it. We got her this set to start her off with food and she loves it!! She does not put things in her mouth and had this since she was about two. When we have a playdate these toys are a huge draw. So, we have purchsed additional Haba foods to extend her set since I think this may be the #1 thing that she loves to play with for hours. The colors are very vibrant and the quality is great. I think these toys are appreciated by people who admire quality over quantity since you could get a 100 piece plastic set of toxic toys made from China for the same amount. However, we want quality over quantity.
