The stew is cute! I really like the tin it comes in and the pieces are so colorful! It makes for realistic play. Although I would be careful if you had little ones in the house. The pieces are pretty small.

I bought these for my 2 year old daughter and she loves to use them. The package does say 3 years or older thought but she didn't put things in her mouth. She loves to stir them in a pot and use the tin for a drinking cup. I also got the green beans. These are a wonderful play food for the money, I just love the tins...I think they are the best part about the whole food item.

The tins are my favorite of the Haba food, and I am aware that most of the pieces are small. The stew can pieces are VERY small, and not appropriate if you have a child that puts anything in his mouth. This will be one of the tins reserved for baby's nap time or put away for a few years until we get out of the everything in the mouth stage. The colors are gorgeous! My oldest really loves sorting the tins after dumping several different ones on the table.

I bought this for my 21 month old, as she is very much a little chef in her play kitchen. As soon as I opened it for her, she fell in love with it! She has so much fun pouring out the little stew pieces into her pot, stirring it around, and then pouring it into little bowls for us to "eat". I did think it was a bit smaller than I expected, but it is actually a perfect size for her little pots and pans. The colors are pretty and bright and there are a pretty equal amount of each piece. I would just not her, or any of her younger friends, with the stew alone because the peas are a little bigger than a marble. Other than that, it is a beautifully crafted addition to her pantry and has withstood many hours of play while still looking brand new.
