I purchased this cash register for my 3 year old and couldn't be happier with it. I am trying to stay away from plastics and slowly moving toward wood, metal and cloth toys (as my budget allows). The simplicity appealed to me most. I believe kids do not need so many lights, bells & whistles. Many toys made today are overstimulating. This product, though a bit pricey, I feel was worth the money.

My son is absolutely loving this cash register! I'm a little surprised at how fast the lid closes but other than that we are in love with this toy. I got this for our sons 2nd birthday, and he is already playing store with his 6 year old sister. We pretend things are color coded so carrots are the orange button. Milk is the natural color button, etc. etc. A great addition to our house. I gave 4 stars because of the lid crashing down so quickly.

We love the fact it has the beads on top and fill the register with money from a board game. Then we can purchase items the kids tag and do simple math the 3 kids love to play together with it. I dont like the green beads are reversed in color and do not match the buttons like the other colors do.

I am not a fan of batteries, sounds, and plastic so this product is a welcome alternative. It is very well made and my three year old son loves lifting the lid and pressing the buttons. It is smaller than I thought it would be from the picture but it is really a wonderful toy.

We play with this each day! It is a great tool for learnings colors (the buttons) and counting. I recommend you get the Haba coins to go with it as well. We have them and I have ordered more. I would just suggest you watch ltitle fingers, as the top can come down hard.
