	Perfect for car enthusiasts! 02/25/2008

These will be going in my 15-month-old's Easter basket (he much prefers cars to bunnies). I have become conditioned to expect anything from HABA to be smaller than how it appears in pictures; however, this time I was pleasantly surprised! The large size of the cars is great for beginning beaders, as well as for pretend play. The threading stick is also a great teaching tool. I agree with the previous reviewer that the 3-year age recommendation seems a little off. I recognize that introducing beads at 15 months is a bit early. However, the features on the vehicles (mirror, bell, beads) will appeal to younger toddlers, and the skill of stringing them will come in time.

The age recommendation for this toy is 3 years and older. I bought it for my 2.5 year old son and he thread the beads in less than a minute and was done with it. Since there are only 6 beads, there aren't a lot of threading options. The toy itself is cute but I probably wouldn't have bought it knowing that it would get so little use.

We got this for our 2 year old boy and he LOVES IT! The feeder stick makes it possible for him to be able to feed the beads onto the cord all by himself. The qualtiy of the cars is great, and because they have extra details, like a mirror, bell, and different accessories, they keep his attention much longer! Love it! Great toy for anytime, but especially when you need them to sit still on your lap!

My son got these when he was 2 1/2 and he still plays with these frequently at 3 1/2, whether it be driving the cars along a table or threading them on the string. The cars each have a fun element- some jingle, some have a mirrored surface, and so on.

My daughter has 3 of these sets and has enjoyed them so we bought this for the son of a friend. These sets are great! The colors are bright, the shapes are fun, and the little bell is so sweet, not in any way annoying. The chunkiness of the beads make them great for little hands, and the holes are nice and big, making stringing easy. Haba makes a great quality toy!
