This wonderful threading set was designed by our friends at Haba and manufactured in Germany. Made of solid wood and finished with completely non-toxic substances. Wipe with dry cloth to clean the wood pieces or toss the threading lace in the washing machine and line dry to clean. An Oompa favorite!

I have many Haba toys from Oompa...and their quality resonates with all of them. These wooden pieces are so sturdy and gorgeous. The feel of the wood is unbeatable in all Haba wooden toys. My twins will love it for their first string toy.

Very colorful, nicely painted, smooth finish. These fish are quite large and so are the holes. My 15 mos old can't thread yet, but she plays with the fish now, and I expect she'll be able to thread well before the 3 years recommended by the manufacturer for this toy.

I bought these blocks for my 13 month old. He is too young to understand the threading concept, but I thought he would enjoy them as blocks. They are well made and nicely painted. My son bangs with them, chews on them, and slides them across the floor. The paint has held up to all this and more. He enjoys them, and they are a great way to teach colors and animals.

I bought these as a decoration for my daughter's room as she loves fish. The colors are great and the shapes are fun and the blocks are super solid. This will not only serve as decoration but as a way to teach shapes

Great fun for my toddler [205 OF 394 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter who loves fish. I thought she was a little young to be able to thread the fish on the string but I thought she would enjoy the fish blocks until she could. I was very surprised that she was able to thread them on the string. The holes are large enough that she could easily get the string through. There is also a wooden attachment that the string can sit it which makes it even easier to thread the sea creatures together. My daughter used that the first couple of times she did it and then after getting the hang of it, she was able to do it without the wooden attachement. The blocks are colorful and can be played with as blocks in addition to being used as intended. It was a big success at our house.
