I was also very surprised by the size. The board and pegs were much smaller than I expected. My daughter has had it a year now and still plays with it regularly. It is a trick to keep track of the tiny pegs, though.

This is great fun but a little on the small side. Not just in the board dimensions; the pegs were hard for my son to handle at first, but after some practice it became easier for him. This will be a toy that will grow with him as his abilities change.

My daughter, just turned 3, loves to play with these pegs, and is very proud of the different patterns she is able to make with them. As other posters mentioned, the only drawback is that the pegs are small and must be kept away from younger children in the house. But otherwise, this is a great toy for little minds!

My girls (3 and 5) like to play with this toy often. They create lots of pictures and patterns. I just wish it was a little bigger. I failed to look at the dimensions.

For a three or four year old. My daughter didn't quite get it when she was two, but now enjoys it immensely and makes up stories for her little peg people. Also good for teaching math when home schooling. The pegs are quite small, and may pose a choking hazard for small siblings.
