Geo Shape Tack Zap is a wonderful activity for the preschool set. Helps build fine motor, sorting, and shape and color recognition skills. Designed in Germany and crafted to gently withstand years of childhood adoration and play. Not intended for use by children under three years old. Small parts may pose a choking hazard. Supervised play recommended. Improper use may cause puncture wounds. Wipe with damp cloth to clean.

Excellent gift for my pre-schooler who loved working with a hammer. Also enjoyed to just be able to push the nails into the cork with her thumb. Has many suggested patterns to imitate, but can also create your own, or simply enjoy the process of handling hammer and nails.

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas, and I think it may have been his favorite gift! He asked to play with it more than any toy he received! A month later he is still asking for it.

Channel the Desire to Hammer Things! [80 OF 167 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My little boy received this as a gift for his 3rd birthday. He loves tools of any kind (even kitchen gadgets). It took him a while to be able to get the little nail to stand up where he could hammer it, but now at age 3 years and 6 weeks, he can do it very well. He doesn't understand how to make a design yet, but he is very happy to hammer in the shapes and say he is "building a castle" or some other make-believe idea. I think this is a toy he will be able to enjoy for many years, because once he figures out how to make designs and scenes, he can continually create more complex designs. I rate this toy 4 stars because the little nails don't come with a practical storage container. They come in a plastic bag. I am looking for a resealable hard plastic container that is small enough to fit in the box along with the rest of the set. I have no complaints about the play value!

My older children loved hammers and nails in preschool and I was so happy to find this for my younger daughter. It's great for encouraging fine motor skills and allows her to be creative. She loves this game and feels special because she's using tools "like Mommy". She needs a bit of coaching to be careful with the nails,but the toy has gotten tons of use and is wearing well. Great for home-schoolers.
