I got this for my just turned 3 year old daughter and she loves it. She loves rolling marbles around, and the little "house" with the arches gives her a focus. She is very proud when she makes it though the arches. It also teaches her to take turns when someone else is playing with her. She likes to divy up the marbles, play, and play again. It's a great game she can do on her own - which she does often! I especially love the small size and it comes with it's own tin case for all the marbles. Very handy and convenient!

I like this game, I would say it is more of a game for 5 or maybe 6 year olds and older. Shooting marbles takes practice and focus and concentration, which my 4 year old is not often willing to exhibit. I enjoy shooting the marbles in the doors of the bazaar and even over the bazaar. My 7 year old likes this quaint game also. The marbles are beautiful! I do not feel I've made a bad purchase. It is a good quality game with many options for games and even solo practice. I do think that the motor skill level is on the level of children older than 3.
