Every collection needs a few giant blocks... [129 OF 235 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
When scanning through the HABA block selection in the past, I wondered who would buy these...then, it hit me. I needed something to bring along to a photography session to keep my 16 month old son occupied in the candid shots. These beautiful and classic blocks kept my son busy and interested (especially since they are much larger than what he is used to), and did not distract at all from the pictures as other toys might have. The large size makes stacking a snap, and the ball has been a huge hit! The size and weight of these blocks encourage my son to use two hands together, which is a good skill to develop. We've also discovered that the triangles make nice little ramps for Bajo cars. I'm really glad we bought these--what a great way to add variety to our block collection. I only wish the set included another cube and cylinder, especially for the price.
