These blocks are full of imagination and whimsy and enhance any block set! They are sturdy and durable and beautiful to look at. My daughter always reaches for them first when she plays with blocks. We plan to order a second set!

Attractive and well-made! Our 11 month old likes to knock them over and of course, put them in her mouth. But they're fun for Mom to set up.

I am very pleased with this set of Haba blocks. The pieces are very high quality and all are striking in their own way. Though my baby isn't old enough to build with them, he loves watching me build different towers and he loves knocking them down even more! I appreciate that the blocks are non-toxic, because my baby loves to chew on them! He also enjoys hitting different blocks together and shaking the ones that make noise. I love building with these blocks and I'm confident my baby will too when he gets a little older! A great starter set!

These blocks are beautifully crafted and very imaginative. The variety of the shape of the blocks is very stimulating for my twin girls. I even truly enjoy playing with them. We travel quite a bit to Spain to visit our family and these blocks are representative of the incredible architecture that you will see in Cordoba. I hope that these blocks by Haba will provide them with an interesting perspective before we make our next trip!

I was looking for a first block set for my 16 months old son and decided to get this Cordoba set after making a tough decision between the Erste Steine Wooden Baby Blocks and the Fantasy Blocks.
Looking at this price tag for only 16 blocks it feels expensive but I think you really get what you paid for. The blocks are definitely high quality and each piece is very unique. My son loved them so much.
I always thought my son was the active type and so he wouldn't really borther to sit around and play with blocks. Normally with other toys, he'll poke around and move onto something else really quickly. But these blocks can actually make him sit down for a little while. I can see his concentration when he tries to stack the blocks up.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Cordoba Blocks as a great first block set. 16 pieces is just about the right amount to be able to build something without being too overwhleming for a toddler. Also, these blocks comes in a good size for a toddler's hand and it contains a mix of unique shapes.
