My son got this last year when he was 5 and just beginning to read. We had a lot of fun making words with the dice and it helped reinforce his new reading skills.

My daughter loves games and even though she is just learning to read she loves to play with these dice. I think it will be even more fun when she can read and spell so we all can play with her. She's having great fun now though and I can see us having this for awhile as it will grow with her. I also like that it's educational as well as fun.

This is perfect to take on airplane rides, to use while waiting on a meal at a local eatery or any place else. The quality is outstanding and the game is simple but fun.

This tin is tiny. It is slightly larger than a full-size babyfood jar. So it fits nicely into a bag or purse to bring everywhere. Of course, since it is Haba, the quality of the game is very good. The letters are cut into the wood not just painted on. The tin is very sturdy and closes securely. This is really a fun game for kids and adults. We never tire of the word games. I love that it is educational and helps my children build their vocabularies.

What my 6 year old and I love about this is that we can throw it into my purse and play it anywhere. It is one of those games that reinforces learning without much effort on anyone's part...it is just fun!
