Part of the City & Country School block sets, this set is amongst a line of blocks designed to expand and grow with your child. The set is composed of very basic wooden blocks, in simple cube shape and primary colors, providing a perfect introduction to block building and color identification. As your child gets older, they can expand their block collection by adding on additional sets.

Contents: 48 colored cubes: 4 red, 4 yellow, 4 blue, 4 white, 4 purple, 4 orange, 4 black, 4 dark green, 4 gray, 4 pink, 4 brown, and 4 green.

City & Country School began in 1914 in a three-room apartment in New York's Greenwich Village. Founder Caroline Pratt believed that open-ended work materials let children recreate the world around them. Block buildings become the backdrop for rich episodes of dramatic play, vivid narratives, and powerful imaginative thinking. The wooden unit blocks she developed were widely admired and are still used at City & Country and other schools around the world.

Kid O's products like the City and Country Block series offer children unlimited dynamic experiences, allowing them to direct their own discoveries. This product has been tested by a third party independent laboratory to conform to ASTM and EN-71 standards. The blocks are made from 100% European Beech, grown in German forests. The wood harvested meets all German regulations, as well as those of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. All paper products are made from 100% recyclable materials.
