Rainbow Baby is close to being the perfect first toy for baby. Made of ultra-soft cotton, this little doll comes "holding" a ring made of beech wood - perfect for teething and easing sore little gums. The ring can be removed for washing and easily re-attached when needed. This little Rainbow Baby wears a lavender, hooded romper and has a simple, reassuring expression. A wonderful grabbing and teething doll for baby.

	Easy for little hands to hold 06/28/2008

I purchased this doll for my newborn daughter. She is just now learning to grasp things and the soft fabric and wooden ring are easy for her to hold on to. This doll is wonderful and the perfect size. It is light , soft and easy for my daughter to manuver. She loves teething on the wooden ring, it is a great alternative to plastic.

I bought this for my 4 mos old daughter, thinking it would be great for a first toy. She does like it, but she prefers other toys, mainly those with more vibrant colors. I would buy a brighter color if I were buying this one again. I like that the teething ring is unfinished and that it can be removed from the doll so that the doll can be washed. Also, the size is perfect for a young baby and the dolls body is made of soft velour.

This soft toy is lovely, and it grows with baby! At first my daughter simply enjoyed holding the soft body of the doll. As she grew older and more coordinated she started grasping the ring and passing the toy back and forth. Now that she's teething, the ring is perfectly smooth for her to gnaw on. This toy is a great addition to any nursery! It's soft, friendly, comforting, and adorable.

I bought this toy for my 3 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it. The ring is just the right size for her to grasp it in her hands, and the cloth doll is not too big or heavy to make holding the toy difficult for her. I look forward to having this toy grow with her through her teething time and beyond.
