Rainbow Baby is close to being the perfect first toy for baby. Made of ultra-soft cotton, this little doll comes "holding" a ring made of bees waxed beech wood - perfect for teething and easing sore little gums. The ring can be removed for washing and be easily re-attached when needed. This little Rainbow Baby wears a green, hooded romper and has a simple, reassuring expression. A wonderful grabbing and teething doll for baby.

A Whimsical Soft Doll Holding A So Smooth Teething

As a fan of textures my baby enjoys holding and chewing on this doll's velour dress and gumming the oh so smooth beech teething ring (surprised how smooth the wood was). He often chews on the red antenna as well. As a bonus this doll also washes well.

Nice Teether

My boy loves to grab at this toy and stuff it in his mouth, the toy (other than the ring) is nice and soft and sometimes he will just grab it to hold it.

A CLASSIC

I purchased this for both my daughter and our friends' son, and it's a hit for sure. Not only is it a great (and safe) cuddling crib toy, it has features that keep it interesting for growing babies: a great wooden ring for teething, the knot "hands" that my daughter is always trying to pry open, and the string antennae (strings are always popular!). I plan to buy more for our future kids, so they each have one of their own!

Great for grasping & teething

My 3 month old son enjoys playing with this toy. He is learning how to grasp objects, and the cloth and wood ring give him two different textures to feel. Even though he chews on it, I think it is great that I can take the ring off and machine wash the fabric. I liked ours so much that I bought one for someone else.

I gave this to my son for nap time and sleeping when he was 3 months old and he has been using it ever since. At 3 months, it was the perfect size for his little hands to grasp. When I checked in on him, it was always so cute to see his tiny hands grasping the "arms" of his Rainbow Baby. Now, at 11 months, he still loves his Rainbow Baby. He chews on the arms and legs, and when I go in to check on him at night, I still find him grasping his Rainbow Baby's arm. For some reason, he prefers chewing on the arms and legs over the teether. I love that my son has this Rainbow Baby to keep him company at night. But more than anything, I love that this Rainbow Baby is completely machine washable and dryable, especially since it always seems to find its way into my baby's mouth.
My only wish is that this specific color were a bit lighter. The green is darker than I like for an infant. It's still gender neutral, but because it's so dark, I think it's more appropriate for a boy.
