I bought the girl doll for my daughter, who is now 4 1/2 months old. She loves to hold on to it. The arms, legs, and hat (and braids) are easy for her little fingers to grab on to and the doll is so nice and soft. It's the perfect size to take along in the car and small enough so that she can manipulate it herself and I don't have to worry about her taking it in her crib. Kathe Kruse is truly my favorite doll company! Well worth the price.
