A must with big bumps! [1 OF 2 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
We are so glad we purchased the seat belt along with the navigator tricycle. Our old bumpy sidewalks can really jostle him around. This belt kept my 20 month old son in place as we pushed him along!

My son is almost a year old and this seatbelt is a MUST. We would not be able to use this trike without the seatbelt. The seatbelt keeps him very securely in place and is very easy to adjust and to attacht to the trike. Highly recommended.

The seat belt for the Kettler Trike is the perfect accessory. My Daughter is only 14 months old and I knew that she would be unable to ride the trike on her own, and when I realized that there was a seatbelt that could be added, I knew that we would be able to use the trike before she was older. The seatbelt holds her very securely to the seat. She is able to lean side to side and even twist and turn a little and she is still very securely in the seat. The installation was very easy 2 screws one bolt and the seatbelt was ready for use. The back of the seat had two scores in it, so knowing were to install the belt was effortless. Adjusting the belt is very simple and it looks as though it would be able to fit a child well into the 4 or 5 year old range, even though for most children it will probably not be needed at that time. I feel this accessory is very important for parents to purchase when the child is not old enough to get on and off the trike without help. Also, the price is very reasonable when it comes to our little ones safety. The only wish I have is that Kettler will decide that this accessory should be included with the purchase of one of their trikes considering they say that the age range for most of their tricycles are 1 to 5 years.

I'm so glad that I found this to go with my son's Kettler Happy Navigator trike. I suspected that he would try to lunge off the seat or slip off without it, and I would have been right--but this harness keeps him safely in place, even when we go over a bump.
