	Bright and Cheery! 03/30/2008

My 2 month old loved this toy. He was attracted by the bright colors and the rattling sound, and he followed it enthusiastically with his eyes. Now at 3 months he grasps at it and tries to put it in his mouth. It helps to divert his attention when he is about to start fussing. I also like the fact that it's washable.

Before my baby was born, I bought several toys from Oompa, including this one. Of all of them - this is the one she is playing with first. She is just learning to grasp at things - so the softness of this toy is perfect. She grabs at the wings and can get her hand around the circular body. It is great that is it soft because she is not too coordinated yet - so if it bonks her on the head, it is OK! It also has a soft rattle that makes her smile and gets her attention again if she drifts off to stare at the window ;-). The colors and the big eyes really grab her attention. The texture of the fabric seems to interest her as well. I want to buy the other little toy that is just like this one!
