These are awesome solid wood pieces. My kids (ages 1-10) all enjoy playing with them. My toddler loves to pull them out and identify the pieces. I think the pretzels are her favorite! Lots of fun with the Plan Toys fridge, shopping basket, and food set.

This set of wooden bread is generally pretty nice. The wood is smooth, and there is a good assortment of different types of bread. It's a high quality play food set that is sized just right for small hands.

However, the paint is a strange orange-ish color. We have the Plan Breakfast Set, which comes with two slices of wooden bread that are almost identical to the slices in this set ... the difference is that the bread from the other toy set isn't painted (except for the crust). I wish there was more variation in the color for each type of bread (unpainted natural wood, darker browns, etc.). This is just a minor gripe, and I'm sure others may not be as picky as I am about the paint color.

Overall, a great addition to a play kitchen!

We are so happy to have this bread set. It goes perfect with our daughter’s all other wooden food that we had collected. The sizes are perfect for her hands and for her toy plates. She especially likes the pretzel. I am impressed that their designs are simplified, yet easy enough to recognize what they are. I also like the feel of rubber wood very much.
