I bought this for my 1yr old last summer. I really bought it for myself bc I thought it was so cute. The whole family loves it. We just started letting DD take it outside. It is not meant to be an outdoor toy bc the surface paint/stain comes off easily.

My son received this toy when he was about 1 year old but did not show much interest in it until about 18 months. Now he loves to walk/run around and pull this behind him. He really seems to like the clacking noise it makes. This toy is very cute and very well-made -- looks brand new despite being pulled around everywhere.

Terrific Pull-Toy! [20 OF 38 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My son received this pull toy for his first birthday; he loves it! Even though my son isn't walking, he is able to play with it by pushing it back and forth or pulling the string back and forth in front of himself while seated. I'm glad he can use it even though he isn't walking yet. Another notable advantage to this pull toy over others is that it doesn't seem to topple over very easily. Also, the string is attached in such a way that it doesn't get tangled under the wheels very easily which seem to happen with other pull toys.

I LOVE ALL THE PLAN TOYS, THEY ARE SO WELL MADE. THE ALLIGATOR IS THE BEST. JUST AS THE OTHER REVIEW SAID IT A VERY LOW KEY CLICK CLACK AS YOU PULL IT ALONG. MY SON JUST STARTED WALKED AND LOVE THE GRAB THE STRING AND WALK WITH IT FROM ROOM TO ROOM.
