This toy could entertain any child! It is so colorful and extremely well-made. It rolls perfectly on carpet or wood floors. Some great features are realistic movement, the fact that there is no "right side up" --it rolls perfect either way, string length, and overall design. Children who are too young to pull this toy themselves will enjoy watching it be pulled.

My preschooler was so intrigued by this little snail that we had to purchase it as a gift for his one year old cousins. It's very sturdy and well-made. We love it's undulating, realistic movements. The string is longer than your average plastic pull toy, so it can be used for many years. Adorable!

much better than other pull toys [62 OF 120 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My 20-month-old has 2 pull toys. This, and another, mass-produced, plastic blinky-eyed one. The advantage of this one, aside from how beautiful it is, is that it will work even if flipped over. So the plastic one, once belly-up, stays that way until my daughter flips it (which she'll only do so many times before she gets frustrated.) This one will work both ways, and rarely gets tangled in the pull cord. Gorgeous, ingenious design!

This item is welll enjoyed by our 12 month old son, eventhough it's supposed to be 18 month olds. He enjoys the bright colors, the moving snail back as he pulls it. However, the pull string is rather thin and sometimes has difficulty grabbing ahold of it( may be because of his age). THe toy is foldable and can be taken on trips. One improvement could be to incorporate a ticking sound as the snailed is pulled. This would be more sensory stimulating for infants and toddlers.

Maybe not good for every child [121 OF 223 PEOPLE FOUND THIS HELPFUL]
My 1 1/2 year old was not that interested in this pull toy. He will take it and push it along the ground and make "vroom vroom" noises with it, but he is not interested in pulling it around after him. That being said the toy is very well made, and cute as a bug. The snail slides in and out of it's shell as it is pulled along. It's a quiet toy, it does not make noise while it is being pulled. If your child has not shown interest in other pull toys, this toy is unlikely to spark his (or her) interest.
