Compared to other ball tracks this is an affordable and practical option. Because it doesn't use marbles its also a good beginner ball track for smaller toddlers who would just put a marble in their mouth. I agree, its not really sturdy, but at the same time, it doesn't topple over that that easily. when we play with it, I just put my hand behind it. And if my daughter is using it alone, I put it against a wall and shes happy.
I do wish the balls were rubber. Wooden balls are dangerous, especially with a child who just learned the word "catch".

I really wished I'd read the reviews here before purchasing this. I had been looking everywhere for a ball track that had a bell that dinged as the ball went down. I loved that the ball disappeared the other side of this track. But in reality it's been very disappointing. It has to be stood on a hard floor - it topples over on rugs and carpet. The bell doesn't ding as the ball barely touches it. The ball will often fall off mid-track and it rolls away at the end of the track. VERY disappointing. Can't recommend.

Bought this for my 15 month old son. As soon we
put it together...he was putting the balls into the holes and watched in excitement as the balls rolled down. There's a bell hanging at the end of the last track. Not sure why. The ball barely touches it. Like the previous review...I agree with her about it falling over and not being stable.

Not as much fun as I'd hoped

I've bought a lot of Plan Toys for my son, but this one was disappointing. Everytime my son tries to play with it, the entire thing falls over. I don't think that the legs to hold it up are big enough. When my husband and I show him how it works, he thinks it is fun, but otherwise he doesn't play with it. For us, it wasn't worth it.
