My son loves drums and this one is easy on the ears! I love that it has different tones and is made out of study wood. His plastic drum broke after a couple years of use. The only thing that could make this better would be to add another drum stick...one just isn't enough! My baby daughter loves to chew on the rubber end of the stick. Reasonably priced for good quality drum.

It's a drum, with a mallot. My little guy loves it. Bang, bang, bang! The sound is actually nice. It's not as harsh as you might imagine from a wooden drum. And the sound varies depending on where you hit.

My son received this as a gift for his first birthday and it quickly became a favorite in our home! I love it for it's minimalist design and pleasant sound. I have since purchased this as a gift for friends and I always receive positive feedback :)

My little one LOVES this drum! He takes the drum stick and will find anything that makes a good sound with it as well, but he loves to just sit make music. I love how sturdy it is ...and COMPLETELY safe!

My daughter has the xylophone and I wanted to get her the drum so that we could create music together. She loves it! I love it! She has just stated grasping the mallet and I help her hit the keys or the drum. It is a lot of fun. I really like to encourage music in our house and these toys are a nice safe way to do so. Another thing about owning both the xylophone and the drum, is now you have two mallets to play each instrument.
