This was probably our son's favorite rattle toy. Babies change quickly from one phase to the next, yet this rattle seemed to interest him from about six months to one year. I loved that when it dropped on a dirty floor, I could quickly wash it in the sink, even dunk it in a glass of water at a restaurant- much more convenient than cloth. Features: easy to grasp, makes sound when rattled and great for teething. And now that he's outgrown it, it's still in perfect condition for another child!

I bought this for my 11 month old daughter but unfortunately she has little interest in it. I'm not sure if it would be better for a younder child as it seemed too simple for her now. As a parent though, I think this is a wonderful toy that has a soft bell sound when shaken. I love this toy as all my other Haba toys and perhaps our next child will like it better.
