Designed and made in Germany, this wooden rattle is perfectly sized for baby's small hands. Colorful wooden beads are securely threaded through a thick band. Embedded in two flower-shaped beads are small spheres of amber - believed by many to have soothing properties for baby's gums. Made of solid beech wood with completely non-toxic paints and finishes.

This rattle/teether caught my eye, it's so attractive. The thing I appreciate most is the size, just right for tiny hands starting to grasp at 5 months or so. My grandson could hold it and shake it early on. It was one of two rattles, among many, that he could actually enjoy. It was my favorite, I saved it to pass along to more future grandchildren. Someday it may be hard to find heirloom quality toys like this.

This was a wonderfully soothing teether for our daughter throughout the worst of her early teething moments. Only two items would relieve her discomfort and this Ambrina toy was one of them. The different shapes gave her the option of moving it around in her mouth for maximum relief and the size was just right to fit in her hands and her mouth. When she wasn't using it as a teether, she shook it back and forth to make the rattle noise to amuse herself. While this teether toy was perfect when she was between 3-11 months, she hasn't really used it much since.

This toy is great for teething. It's flexible and small so that it fits in little hands and little mouths perfectly. Plus it is bright and different.

We purchased this rattle for our 6 month old daughter. It quickly became her favorite toy! The colors are so bright and beautiful! It is the perfect size for little hands! This would make a GREAT shower gift!

We bought this as a homeopathic solution when our daughter started teething. It doesn't "rattle" that well but she loved to chew on the flowers with the amber beads (never on the colored beads) which did seem to help soothe her. It washes well in soap and water and while pricey, it is a beautiful piece and stood up well enough to pass on to my newborn triplets.
