Our son has played with this toy since he was only 2 weeks old. As you can see from the picture I added some items and placed them a little lower for his to reach until he got old enough. Now he plays with all of the toys on it and really likes to grab the rings (see photo) and loves it when I spin the little guy in the middle. He plays with it everyday and lately has started screaming with excitement at it.

We got this when our daughter was just 6 weeks old, She would lie on a cushion under it and try to hit the rings. The colors are vibrant and eye catching for small babies who's vision hasn't developed fully yet. Now she is 8 months old and it still gets used. This was our best toy buy ever, she has been using it continuously and it has held up very well, it still does and it gets quite some abuse now. it is sturdy, the paint doesn't chip, it's the perfect toy. If I was to get one toy for the first year, it would be this.

I just love this for my 3 month old. The quality is amazing and it is absolutely sturdy (which is a must when my older 2 try climbing on it). The colors and toys delight him, and the feel of the wood is so pleasant. What I love best about this one is that it will continue to grow with him. At first he was able to bat at the hanging pieces, now he can grab the rings. As he continues to grow he will learn to shake the rings to make the bells jingle, make the little boy flip, ect. I think it just fits a wider range of ages than other plastic playgyms.

My two month old son loves playing with this - keeps him occupied and frees me up for some 'me' time. I love the simple design and bright colors and it was easy to set up. My only problem is that the frame has a slight smell to it - cant quite describe it - but hope it will go away soon

This is one of the only toy that keeps my 4 month old entertained for longer than 2 minutes. He loves batting the hanging toys and then laughs at them while they're swinging. It's the mixture of the motion, colors, and noises that keep his interest. It's wonderful quality - I'm sure it will be as loved by our kids to come. It also makes a great aid for the babies as they learn to stand on their own - it's the perfect height for them to hold on to while they try to balance themselves. I would highly recommend this toy.
