	Toy to grow into 05/14/2008

I bought this for my 1.5 year old daughter. The toy is a little too old for her (rated for a 2 year old). But, the toy has many uses and can grow with my daughter. At this age she plays with the car, pulling it around the house. She giggles as it follows her. A few of the pieces were too small (choking hazards) so I took the pieces out and made a necklace out of them. I wear the necklace and my daughter plays with it when she nurses. The necklace is also a teething toy that is easy for me to wear any place. I am anxious for my daughter to be interested in designing and building with this toy. I like the quality of the toy and its versatility.

We bought this toy for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas and she's really enjoyed it so far. Immediately after we took it out of the box and put it together, she grabbed it and began pulling it around the house and calling it "puppy". She likes to watch it follow her around and pulls on it's ears. She also enjoys playing with the little bell. She hasn't had any interest in taking it apart yet, but I think that as she gets older, that aspect of it will inspire some great creativity for her. I really like the child-friendliness of the toy and watching her walk around with her "puppy" from room to room just puts a smile on my face.
